Turning Point: ICT STEM Lab Introduction
Everything changed, when a new ICT STEM Lab was established. The lab was equipped with modern tools and resources designed to provide students with hands-on learning experiences in DIY kits, robotics, mathematics, and scientific experimentation. For Saloni, this was more than just a lab—it was an opportunity to explore her potential.
Challenge and Determination
Despite her passion, Saloni initially lacked the confidence to engage in technical subjects due to limited exposure and experience. However, her determination pushed her to participate actively, overcoming selfdoubt and proving her abilities.

Achievements and Impact
Saloni’s dedication led to her creating a project titled “Electricity Generator Using a Speed Breaker”, using materials provided by Experifun. Her innovation not only impressed her teachers and peers but also earned her the first prize at the STEM exhibition. Her success challenged the stereotype that girls cannot excel in science and technology. Inspired by her journey, other girls in the school began showing interest in STEM subjects, seeing Saloni as a role model.
